The blue cross refused to "talk about the past" when we asked why they did what they did. If you receive a reply from them that is different in any way to our story, please let us know as this will be a lie and we will immediately take action against them.

thank you for your feedback. Sadly the blue cross simply covered up their failures instead of doing anything about it. They completely screwed over David, Heather and their dog. The dog developed negative behaviour which was caused by the kennals.

iv only just read this story. i cant beleive how cruel the blue cross was to this poor pup and yourselves. i thought they were a dedicated organisation that help sick and homless animals how wrong was i. im realy disgusted at what you went through, you spent your time and money to help this pup and all you got in return was selfish selfcentred people fobbing you off. i was thinking of fostering dogs and i came across your sight now i dont think il bother i think il just put the extra time and money into my pets instead. im sorry to hear youve seperated i hope it wasnt through the stess of this situation and i hope you both have dogs of your own now. you sound like you would have been perfect dog foster careres. good luck with your battle i hope you win you deserve to. all the best for the future to you both. barb x

Dave and Heather never got Tinker back. The Blue Cross refused to provide the details of the "specialist" who assessed them. As such, it was impossible to know if they had the correct qualifications. Dave and Heather had many expert dog handlers and specialists, all of whom recommended Dave and Heather and stated on the record that the so called Blue Cross Specialist was incorrect in their assessment and also that the Blue Cross as a whole had done all of the worst things possible for the dog in question.
Dave and Heather wanted the world to see what lying scum the Blue Cross really is. Dave and Heather have recently separated, but their fight against the blue cross continues.
Thank you for your comment. Please spread the word. We (as a website) refuse to be silent about what happened so long as the blue cross continue to exist.
There are many other dog fostering services available and there are always dogs that will need someone to care for them. Even if you are unable to foster a dog, you can call your local shelter and register as a dog walker. The dogs love seeing a new face. After being locked in their paddock, they absolutely love the attention you can give them and will appreciate you playing with them. Even just a few hours a week can make a dog so much happier, they stand a better chance at being rehomed as they will have better social interaction.

Thank you for your time and comment. All the best.

I hope this isn't the normal way Dog Rescuer centres work, I dont understand how these people can call themselves animal lovers or hold the position they do. At the end of the day its the dogs welfare that counts and it was obviously very happy with Heather and Dave. These people have made 3 lives very unhappy. I have been thinking about fostering when I retire, you can bet I wont be doing it through Blue Cross. I hope Heather and Dave have resolved situation now. I wish them and Tinker all the best.

Hello, thank you for your kind words. The campaign has only been successful thanks to people like you. This story now ranks very highly on almost every relevant search that lists the blue cross.

first of all i thin it is great that heather and dave tried so much for the dog, second it is very hard for people to foster dogs as they have sooooo many rules.and 3rd who the heck do you thin you are MEG you are the only person with a negative comment.you should read the story in full before you comment so harshly.
they did all the could for the poor dog and dont need people like you putting them down.blue cross should of been there for them like promised and they werent.yes dogs are very expensive, but some places pay for the vet bills food etc.they did the blue cross a favour by looking after him,and they got treated dirt.you should apologize to heather and dave as your out of order.

Hello, this is what we have been banging on about. The blue cross Dog Foster Scheme is a disaster. People such as yourself are willing to give up their time and home to look after an animal and the blue cross can not even call you back. The same happened with people interested in adopting dogs in foster care. Heather and David would constantly get phone calls from the Blue Cross saying that someone phoned interested in the dog they were fostering, but the Blue Cross had lost their number, so there was no possible way to contact the people who phoned. It was a constant uphill struggle. No one at the blue cross will believe that the foster service is in such a wreck of a state as Denise Young, the Fostering Project Coordinator has lied on more than one occasion to try and hide her short falls.
Animals deserve much more than someone like Denise Young who clearly doesn't care enough to fix the problems that everyone else can see with the fostering service.
I believe that everyone who dealt with this nasty cover-up should be sacked for bringing the charity into disrepute.

Thank you very much for your comment, we hope to see you here again soon.
